ABOUT

Abby

Originally from South Georgia, Tiny Nest founder Abby Barber grew up surrounded by plants. In the woods where she lived, most days began and ended outdoors covered in dirt.

After learning the ropes in greenhouses of great-grandmothers and gardens of her grandfather, she traveled to work in Southern California and Northern New Mexico where she decided working with her hands in the soil is what she wanted to do professionally.

She obtained a degree in agriculture with a focus on sustainability and is a licensed landscape horticulturist. She’s been working professionally with plants, indoors and outdoors, for the last 12 years. She currently focuses on beautifying living and workspaces in New Orleans, LA.
